Key Features
SlimLink Magnetic Interface: Proprietary multi-magnet system locks to Peak Design mounts with a secure twist-and-lock motion, ensuring your iPhone 15 stays attached during high-speed riding and rough terrain navigation.
Fabric Exterior Construction: Woven fabric shell provides superior grip when handling your phone with gloved hands, preventing drops at fuel stops or toll booths compared to smooth plastic cases.
MagSafe Wireless Charging: Integrated magnets maintain full compatibility with MagSafe chargers, car mounts, and power banks for cable-free charging during overnight stops or between rides.
Raised Protection Design: Reinforced corners and elevated screen edges create a protective barrier that absorbs impact energy during drops, protecting your display and camera from handlebar-height falls.
Use Case Scenarios
- Handlebar-mounted navigation during daily commutes and weekend tours using Peak Design Out Front Mounts or Motorcycle Bar Mounts
- Quick phone access for contactless payments at toll plazas and parking lots using one-hand magnetic release from the mount
- Tank bag storage with confidence knowing the military-grade protection prevents damage from vibration and accidental drops during fuel stops
Why Choose the Everyday Case?
- Midnight Blue colorway offers a refined aesthetic that complements motorcycle gear without the aggressive styling of typical rider accessories
- SlimLink system eliminates adhesive metal rings that damage phone resale value and create permanent mounting limitations
- Compatible with Peak Design’s entire mounting ecosystem including wireless charging mounts, tripod adapters, and wall mounts for versatile use on and off the bike
- Loop-ready anchor point allows future addition of Peak Design’s Loop wrist strap for one-handed security without purchasing a new case
Pros & Considerations
Pros:
- Instant magnetic mounting and removal with one hand, ideal for riders who frequently switch between mounted navigation and pocket storage
- Fabric exterior resists slipping from jacket pockets and provides better grip in monsoon conditions than smooth cases
- MIL-STD-810G drop protection tested to 2-meter drops ensures survival during parking lot mishaps or unexpected dismounts
Considerations:
- Peak Design SlimLink mounts required for mounting functionality, sold separately from the case
- Loop wrist strap not included with this base model – purchase separately or choose the Loop variant if wrist strap security is needed
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Can I use this case with non-Peak Design phone mounts like RAM Mounts or Quad Lock?
A: No, the SlimLink system is proprietary to Peak Design and incompatible with other mounting systems due to its unique twist-lock mechanism. However, the case maintains MagSafe compatibility for standard MagSafe accessories and chargers. For mounting, you must use Peak Design SlimLink mounts.
Q: Will this case protect my iPhone 15 from monsoon rain and water splashes during riding?
A: The case is not waterproof but the fabric exterior and sealed polymer frame provide splash resistance for light rain exposure. For heavy monsoon riding, use a waterproof phone pouch over the case or store the phone in a waterproof tank bag compartment.
Q: How do I attach the Peak Design Loop wrist strap to this case?
A: This base Everyday Case model includes a Loop-compatible anchor point on the lower right corner. Purchase the Peak Design Loop separately, then slide the anchor into the slot until it clicks – the Loop provides one-handed wrist security when using your phone off the bike.
Q: Does the magnetic mounting interfere with the iPhone 15’s compass accuracy for navigation apps?
A: No, Peak Design engineers the SlimLink magnet array to avoid interference with the iPhone’s internal compass and GPS sensors. Navigation apps like Google Maps and Apple Maps maintain full accuracy when the phone is mounted.
Q: Can I wirelessly charge this case on a MagSafe power bank while riding?
A: Yes, the case supports MagSafe wireless charging at full speed (up to 15W). You can attach a MagSafe power bank to the back of the case and store both in a tank bag or jacket pocket for charging during long rides without removing the case.
