Frequently Asked Questions
Will this improve my horsepower?
Yes. Reduced backpressure improves exhaust flow, resulting in measurable horsepower and torque gains. The exact improvement depends on your motorcycle model and existing setup.
Do I need ECU tuning?
No. Most slip-on exhausts work perfectly with stock fuel maps. Full system exhausts may benefit from optional ECU tuning to extract maximum performance.
Is this street legal?
Check your local emissions regulations. Many performance exhausts meet Euro standards but may not comply with all noise ordinances. Verify legality before purchase.
How much weight does this save?
Weight savings vary by model. Typical slip-on systems save 2-5 lbs. Full systems save 5-10 lbs. Lighter exhausts improve acceleration and handling measurably.
